Welcome to the Aranthael Campaign World.

Aranthael is a campaign world which originated as a home brewed setting for a Dungeons and Dragons campaign. It has now been re-envisioned for use with the Chaosium Basic Roleplaying system. As with all BRP Settings, this one is heavily modified.

This is a world of history, ancient ruins, old curses, and a risen evil. The world is dark and gritty with danger lurking around every corner. The world is a cross between Robert E. Howards Conan and Tolkeins Middle Earth.

It is a dark time in the history of Aranthael with the return of an ancient evil having come to power and the forces of good struggling for survival. The game takes place nearly one hundred years after the end of our last D&D Campaign. It is a new, more dangerous world, begging to be saved.
